The Chiss Resistance is the protagonist faction in Invasion of Skyrim.
The Resistance was originally founded by General Draqh, an ex-special forces unit from the Imperial Chiss armada. Staging his own death with Zoe, he escaped to Skyrim and contacted Flim, and together they began the revolution that would someday upend Thrawn.
The Resistance as a whole is made up largely of defectors, spanning from many Chiss clans that were once apart of the Imperial Chiss armada. Notably, their upper echelon is the Etok clan, the most highly skilled Special Forces class Thrawn had access to, prior to their arrival on Nirn. Next comes the Hinarka clan, a small group of dedicated support soldiers that provide the food, material, and miscellaneous skill required to keep an army active. The next tier down would be considered the soldier tier, which makes up the largest amount of the Resistance. The soldiers are from all over Tamriel, and not limited to just Chiss in race.
Etok[]
The Etok are the highest ranking Resistance soldiers, having once been spec-ops units for Thrawn. Tragedies, manipulation, experiments and more drove them all in different directions for many years, and eventually into defection. Now, they're free to live as they please, but they've all chose to fight for the freedom of the very planet they've been stranded on.
The Etok are a colorful set of characters, with equally colorful pasts. From the mysterious assassin Mraqh'Zoe'Etok, to the powerful psionic father, Wez, they are a dangerous group of individuals that have spearheaded a rebellion for over twenty-five years now.
Hinarka[]
The Hinarka are largely a civilian clan, providing services more-so than combat skill. They are a support class, coming to the Resistance as healers, blacksmiths, fletchers, cooks, farmers and more. They are a close-knit clan with strong emotional ties to eachother.
The Hinarka first made their appearance in the form of Croghi'eduri'hinarka, the Resistance's first blacksmith, and the best Chiss blacksmith on Nirn. Others followed suit shortly after, and have formed a small family of friends since that day.
Soldiers[]
The soldiers of the Resistance are rag-tag at times, but can be relied on in any situation. They consist of all manner of inhabitants, from Argonians to Orcs. Oftentimes, they can be found camping at key ambush points in Skyrim, waiting for potential targets to wander along their roads.
In the field, Players who reach Captain rank can issue orders to Soldiers, and sometimes recruit them temporarily. Other soldiers will become medics and sell equipment to the Player.
